One file for the work, and for the insurer.

Your collection holds the works, the photos, and the values you enter. When you need a schedule, you export it and hand it over.

The collection

Values are events you recorded.

A figure in the file is a value you, or a valuer you name, entered on a date. Stemma does not appraise the work and does not insure it.

The same file holds the photos and the condition notes you keep for yourself. Those stay private unless you choose to send them.

The insurer

A schedule they can actually file.

The export is the art inventory for insurance: the works, the images, and the values on the record. You give it to your insurer. We do not become the insurer by making the file.

  • Title, artist, year, medium, and dimensions
  • The images on the record
  • The value you entered, and the date you entered it

The object

You can check the work in your hands.

Tap the tag. Stemma checks the artist, the certificate, the physical work, and the custody history the parties chose to share. The answer is verified, failed, tampered, or unable to read.

A copied certificate file cannot run that check. The tag is on the object.

The export is a schedule. It is not a policy, and it is not a promise of value.
